The Kitchen Plus 10 STEP PROCESS
1. Free Estimate w/ Design Consultant
One of our expert Design Consultants comes to your home to provide a free estimate and design recommendation. The appointment takes an average of two hours.
2. Final Design Appointment
Our Designer or Scheduler will contact you to arrange an appointment to review the project and make any changes to your final design. This is the time where you sign the contract and receive your “Customer Information Guide”.
3. Final Selections
Our Design Consultant or our in-house Interior Designer, will be working with you to make specific selections for your project. This will expedite the process and prevent delays. All undetermined items should be selected prior to the measure. Note: any changes after this point could seriously impact the start and end dates of your project.
4. Schedule of Measure
Within five to ten working days of signing your contract a measure date will be set for one of our on-staff Engineers to come out to your house and take final measurements. Engineering provides the link between design and construction.
5. Final Measurements with Engineer
Our Engineer will come out to your home for approximately two hours and take exact measurements. Feel free to ask any questions about the creation of your kitchen or our process; they are the experts. All other projects will vary based on the scope of the project.
6. Engineering Processes File
The Engineer draws up the final project, creates cut-lists, prepares an order sheet for all parts and materials and a timeline for the project. This process allows us to be fully prepared to complete your project without interruptions. Everything will be organized prior to the job so that each project runs smoothly. A kitchen remodel process time takes approximately five to thirty days, assuming all design, material and hardware selections have been made. No job is turned over to our Scheduling Manager until every part and piece has been selected. All other projects will vary based on the scope of the project. The entire measuring and engineering process takes from three to five weeks.
7. Schedule of Start Date
Our Scheduling Manager will call and give you your start date approximately one week after the file has been processed by engineering. Careful consideration is used in finding the perfect installer for your project before he calls you with your guaranteed start date. Shortly after you receive your start date you will receive a letter that will inform you of your installer, instructions on tasks to complete prior to start date, along with any guarantees.
8. Building Your Dreams
Our state of the art custom cabinet shop builds all of your quality cabinetry and finishes all of the materials for your project. At this point we order all parts and pieces for your job. All of the stain work for the doors and veneer is done right in our cabinet shop. This process can take one to three weeks.
9. First Day of Job
Our expert Installer will arrive between 8:00-9:30 am to review the project and answer any final questions. Now that we have begun the job the Installer will work diligently to finish your job by the guaranteed ending date.
10. Completed Job
On the day of completion you will have a final walk-through with your Installer.
